“A chaos exists within me which needs to be satisfied. It’s telling me to let go of all expectations, because nothing is the way you want it to. If I try to control something I allow it to control me. The things I try to own, end up owning me. To control is to be not free. I’m setting myself free by painting without controlling my quick strokes with the palette knife. Channeling this energy with paint results in these artworks.”
